What is LockLatch™?

LockLatch™ is simply a lockable latch that allows you to leave any window or door open, but still locked.
Does LockLatch™ fit on any door?

Yes! LockLatch™ fits any door regardless of the type, size or the way it opens.
Does LockLatch™ fit on any window?

Yes! LockLatch™ fits any window regardless of the type, size or the way it opens.
Are MiniLatch™, LockLatch™ and PetLatch™ adjustable?

Most definitely. The MiniLatch can be adjusted to anywhere between 1.8" to 3.1" [4.5cms to 8cms], the LockLatch is adjustable between 3.6” and 6.7” [9cms and 17cms] and the PetLatch™ can be adjusted between 5.7” to 9” [14.5cms to 23cms].
What is the largest possible gap?

Use PetLatch™ if you want a bigger gap of 10" [26cms] if mounted on the outside of the frame as shown in these photographs.
What is the smallest gap?

Using the MiniLatch, the smallest possible gap is 1.8" [4.5cms], which is a perfect gap size for ventilation.
Is LockLatch™, PetLatch™ and MiniLatch™ guaranteed?

Yes. There is a lifetime guarantee, so in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong, just return it to us and we'll replace it free of charge or give you a refund.
How should I care for my LockLatch®

LockLatch products are made from C304 stainless steel and are rust resistant. So from time to time we recommend that you wipe them down with some diluted washing up liquid or similar. And for more comprehensive care instructions please see pdf here.
Can I use LockLatch™ and PetLatch™ to give my cat or dog access?

Indeed, both are the ideal pet door. Either of these lock latches is the perfect solution for this as they will fit on all doors and windows, making them the perfect cat flap or doggy door alternative.
Can I use LockLatch™ and MiniLatch™ to stop my windows and doors banging in the wind?

Certainly. By using LockLatch™ as a window ventilation lock or door latch you can lock a window or door in the open position to prevent wind damage.
Can LockLatch™ be used to lock a window or door in the closed position?

Yes. As long as one of the footplates is mounted approx. 8cms [3.1”] in from the frame.
How do I order my LockLatch™, PetLatch™ and MiniLatch™?

By First Class Mail from our Distribution Center in Camarillo, California
What are the delivery costs?

Delivery is free if you purchase 3 or more units. If you buy 1 or 2 units the delivery cost is US$5 (CA$7).
What is your refund and returns policy?

How long does delivery take?

4 - 6 days.
Do you deliver outside of the US?

Yes we do, so please just select your country during the check out process.
What are LockLatch™ payment options?

Payment can be made using PayPal where you can pay by card even if you don’t have a PayPal account. But if you’d prefer an alternate payment method please mail [email protected]
What are LockLatch™, PetLatch™ and MiniLatch™ made from?

C304 stainless steel with a satin finish, making it rust resistant. It’s also easy to spray paint with paint available from your local hardware store.
Can I fit LockLatch™ to an Aluminium Window/Door?

Yes. LockLatch™ fits any aluminium window or door, whichever way it opens.
Can I fit LockLatch™ to wooden Window/Door?

Yes. LockLatch™ fits any wooden window or door, whichever way it opens.
Can I use LockLatch™ on my boat to secure the hatches?

Yes. LockLatch™ can be used to secure any boat hatch for improved marine security.
Can I use LockLatch™ for trailer and motorhome security and as an addition to my security system?

Definitely. LockLatch™ is great for improved trailer and motorhome security and works on all doors and windows for safe ventilation and security.
Can a thief break through a LockLatch™?

Yes, a determined thief with a plan of action and the right tools could break through a LockLatch™, however, it is a great deterrent to prevent opportunistic theft.
